How to measure?

Here's a quick guide on how to measure some common clothing items:

Tees:

• Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest.

• Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder seam to the hem.

• Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the cuff.

Denims:

• Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of the waist.

• Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam to the hem along the inside leg.

• Hip: Measure around the fullest part of the hips.

Casual shirts:

• Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest.

• Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder seam to the hem.

• Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the cuff.

• Neck: Measure around the base of the neck.

Jackets

Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure level.   

Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, which is usually the narrowest part of your torso.   

Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hips, keeping the tape measure level.   

Shoulder Width: Measure across your shoulders from the outermost point of one shoulder bone to the outermost point of the other.

Sleeve Length: Measure from the top of your shoulder (where it meets your neck) down the outside of your arm to your wrist bone.

Back Length: Measure from the base of your neck down your spine to the desired length of the jacket.

Gilet Jackets (Vest Jackets)

Chest: Same as for jackets.

Waist: Same as for jackets.

Hip: Same as for jackets.

Body Length: Measure from the base of your neck down your spine to the desired length of the gilet.
